The badgermoles are good teachers; they're blind, like me, and they taught me to use earthbending as an extension of my senses and my body.  I guess I learned more than earthbending from them though.  Badgermoles don't hibernate, but sometimes their bodies shut down for a couple of days to conserve energy.  I made myself a rock tent, and I slept for 2 or 3 days straight.

I woke up a little while ago, had something to eat, and I'm already feeling great again!  Anybody wanna take me on?

Celes, I hope you weren't worried when I didn't come out of my shelter in the mornings...

I have NEVER had dreams like this.  Is it some weird side effect of the gate or these bizarre worlds?  Whose ass can I kick?  ...once I've gotten enough rest to be myself again, that is.  Right now, I feel more like a bunch of pebbles, or some sand, than a rock.  I'm not supposed to be fuzzy and out of it!  I am the greatest earthbender in the world, and I am rocklike!

Snoozles'd probably make fun of the circles I'm sure are under my eyes if he saw me now.

Well, I don't quite understand where I am... and I don't know what happened to the group. One minute I was sitting on a rock, telling the gang that Sparky could join us so I could pay 'im back for burning me, and the next... something happened, and I fell on my butt here. There's buildings not too far from here, and some tunnels underground... and either it's cloudy, or it's somehow later in the day than it was at the Western Air Temple, because I don't feel the sun on me.

The floaty-moogle things told me if I talk into this, it'll write words and people can read 'em. So if this doesn't work, the tiny twinkletoes'll be eating some earth.

I'll go find some food in a little while. Maybe I'll head toward the town and hope people there are friendly. Not like I can't take care of myself if they're not.

Sokka, Sweetness, Twinkletoes... even Zuko... if any of you are around and reading this, let me know. I see fine with my feet, but it might be good to have someone who can see with their eyes too.
